How to Get Community Tab on YouTube?
YouTube community tab is really a great way to communicate with your subscribers and the YouTube community. The features let you create posts, polls, GIfs images, and videos. First of all, you need to open your YouTube channel. The next thing you need to do in order to activate the community tab if you don’t have it yet is you need to click the little wheel icon. Then, you need to make sure that customize the layout of your channel has been checked. Then you have to click on save and then it’s going to jump in that new layout which says to join, customize channel, YouTube studios. In the new layout, the community tab will appear along with your home, videos, and playlists tabs. There is no other manual button to turn on the community tab it should automatically be in your channel if you’re eligible and if you have over a thousand subscribers. If you don’t have over a thousand subscribers the community tab may pop up on your channel because YouTube said they are just beta testing it.

Let people know what’s going on, where you are, why you are not posting. In this way, you’re still keeping engagement with your channel and your community. You’re staying connected to your audience even though you’re unable to actually make a video.
The other thing you can do is provide some kind of BTS (behind the scenes) content or extra content on top of your main videos. For example, you can include image posts or you can make a meme for your content, you could just share some footage of you filming a video.
