					<description>I can understand the trouble of not putting &quot;Blade Runner&quot; in that list. Visually, thematically, and in every way possible, I think it defines what that list is all about. 

I don't see why &quot;Fifth Element&quot; was in it, though. It's not just that it was a bit of a duff film, but I don't think it was that influential. I can't imagine anyone watching it and going, &quot;Aaah! So that's what the future is going to look like!&quot;

kudos for including &quot;Tron&quot; and &quot;Wargames&quot; though.</description>

It's f*cked up, but way ahead of the game in terms of cinematography and style.

And yeah, I'm almost glad of all the 300 hype - it's now so hyped it can't possible deliver. So my expectations have dropped. Which is good because that means it will be amazing.
