Northern Ireland: hate capital of western world
Northern Ireland is the hate capital of the western world, according to new research by the University of Ulster.
Not only does Northern Ireland have the highest proportion of bigots - just ahead of Greece - but the bigots are on average more bigoted than those in other countries.
The main target of the Ulster bigots are homosexuals, followed by immigrants or foreign workers.

I’ve contributed to research and surveys here in Northern Ireland, normally over the phone. There’s always something about them that I don’t really want to tell ‘the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth’. I tend to respond in a way that I know nobody else, or at least very few people will. So reading this doesn’t surprise me, especially if I’m not as unique as I think I am.
