Intertron crucifies Jade Goody
Due to the ongoing OMFG-big-brother-racism controversy, Jade Goody has been crucified by the Internet, as reported by The Register. There are some quite amusing bits and bobs there.
We’d like to say at this point that we at Vulture Central in no way condone this kind of behaviour, and urge netizens to show tolerance and constraint until a proper show trial and Iranian-style execution (Celebrity Come Dance the Tyburn Jig - live on Channel 4, Saturday, 9pm) can be arranged. ®

Yay, Lara Croft in Ireland!
Feshti's back and this time he's counting down the top 10 movie opening scenes of all time.
Is American opinion and culture crowding out all others?
Ha Stephen loves Big Brother!!!

I despise big brother. Think of this post as a celebration of its destruction.

Its ‘destruction’?
Its ratings have gone through the roof, its got millions of quids worth of free publicity from the media and word-of-mouth, and, The Irish Times reports that after Carphone Warehouse withdrew their sponsorship, “several other companies have since been lining up to take their place”.
Unfortunately not, Stephen.

A man can dream, can’t he?

the abolution of the state tube can only be achieved when the sponsorship element is transferred to a corporate status quo. This does not apply when the devolved medium has no control via its own flitering: for example, the latest tirade on big brother is only a kind of outside tinkering: withdrawal of the carte blanche is preferable to the induction of acolyte constructive critique (yes, orobonic or not). In laymans terms, what you have is meta-plyorgenetic prism of doubt jaded syndrometically to an enhanced type of porridge, or camel, if you will. surely this is obvious. the racist politically anti-correct over simplification of aforementioned events is a long withheld ignorant bias inside a cultural framework, which pre/post- systemic social conditioning has only added to the non-politically uncorrect sub-xenophobic psuedo-attitude. banana.

On the Shilpa vs Jade CBB eviction my mother and I both voted Shilpa to leave (Big brother bitching is well known, Jade cant be descriminated against for that, as for racist? Shes well known for speaking without engaging brain, stupidity is not racism) however we didnt get our ‘thanks for voting!’ texts til the next day, we made us suspicious that our votes had not been counted. My mum used her contract phone and yesterday got her bill, the Shilpa votes showed as being sent on Saturday morning (around the same time she got her ‘thanks for voting’). Could you please reassure us that you did not rig the votes to make sure Jade left so you would stop getting bad press?

i think the way c4 is getting its rating up in the middle of something far more serious is damn genius. of course their reps will state that they “care” whats happening in the house but obviously not enough to cancel the show and save the bullies and the bullied a little dignity. IN SAYING THAT it truely makes me happy to show how fickle “celebrities” can be when they are taken out of their zones and forced to be real people again. the likes of danielle and jo and jade have proven to the world how horrible these “role models” can be when put into the pit. danielle and jade are losing the careers and contracts and jo o meara has nothing to lose, but will she take the leap and show us how truly pathetic she is….no!! shes broke, she needs this to pay her debts. in my humble opinion stupidity is no excuse for the way they treat(ed) shilpa, its down and out bitching and bullying to establish a 3 week pecking order. i am honestly happy we have seen this, and will enjoy watching their lives fall apart in the near future….. what goes around…….
