TCAL and you

danger @ 2:44 pm

Hello, we’re currently thinking about version 4.0 of TCAL, and we’re currently looking for ideas in the following areas:

1. Encouraging more people to sign up and post
2. Increasing readership
3. Presenting the information better
4. New features
5. Subject matter - more Irish stuff? Less random internet shit?

Drop a comment or contact us if you’ve any ideas/anything you hate at the moment etc…

  1. i fuckin hate that irish flag in the corner. 100% irish!? fuck off. 100% everything everywhere everyone?! no borders, no flags. there is nothing wrong with pride in a nation but man where i live in england theres fuckers dangling all sorts of shite out their windows and its got FAR more to do with telling me to fuck off than anything else. when i first started living here…you dont wanna know. theres nothing wrong with that flag, but i suppose im biased anti-flag. put a world or a peace flag there instead. in my bigoted, irish, fucked up opinion. i love flags.

  3. How about a daily news broadcast, recorded, put on Youtube (or similar) and put on here at a regular time daily. An alternative 6.01 news if you like.

  6. More frames, animated gifs, hard to decipher text and background music would be nice :)

Or some more guest posts would be cool, it’s up to you.

  8. now i like ’strangers’ idea of background music. background music of infinite variety is a good idea. 15th century balinese folk one day, pop the next day, etc. most people have ‘extremely limited’ musical tastes and if tcal were to exploit the full spectrum, there would be more incentive for more people to click on. as long as they have choice while they surf. also, tcal is quite stereotype when it comes to hype. america, america, america, tech tech tech, men, men men. there are 6 billion people on the planet, 124 countries, iraq, aids, etc are very much western media hype constructs. google news isnt a balanced view. I am lazy, and busy, but yes, i will do a special feature write up.

  9. Just keep up the good work guys, frankly the random internet shite is the reason I read this site. You do manage to find amusing / quirky stuff that hasn’t yet hit boingboing, youtube popular etc.
