Q Magazine: Smells like teen spirit is best song of last 20 years
Nirvana’s iconic 1991 single “Smells Like Teen Spirit” beat out hits from Madonna, Britney Spears and U2 to be named the best pop song in 20 years by Britain’s Q Magazine.

Hmm. Not sure about the list - as chosen by ‘Q’ staff. Certainly wouldn’t put ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ as best in 20 years, although I certainly would declare it as all time greatest TOTP performace….

My teachers and parents always told me I’d never make a lick of difference in the world. Well, I subsequently got into Nirvana and moped for a few years, and now I’VE SHOWN THEM!!!!
