Real sign TV deal
MADRID, Nov 20 (Sw) - Real Madrid have signed a deal worth €1.1 billion with a production company based in Catalunia.Mediapro now have the rights for the live matches of the Madrid giants. They outbidded TV station Telemadrid. The Catalan company also hold similar rights to the rights for Real Madrid’s fierce rivals FC Barcelona.
According to Real, the deal is the largest of its kind in soccer, and runs until the 2012-2013 season.
