Where did this come from? Hard to believe that Dubai could be coming to Dublin City! A stunt, yes?

That’s hilarious, a giraffe only zoo? Shamrogue city? Howth 2,an exact replica of Howth only on the Southside?
love it, nice bit of viral marketing there

That’s absolutely bloody fantastic. 10 out of 10 for this - Would love to know more about who was behind it.

This is legit. It’s part of the Progressive Democrats ‘A New Heart for Dublin’ vision.

Deadly viral! Brill website too.
Of course the BIG giveaway is the timeline, NOTHING happens in Ireland in 3 years never mind 3 man made islands, a giraffe zoo and a motorway.

check out the pd’s version (its legit). wud be so cool if their version went ahead. but it wnt sum old ppl will moan that a mok georgian area should be built insted to be ‘’in keeping'’ with city (LOSERS)
Comment by jimbob — September 22, 2006 @ 11:48 pm
The shamrock island is more likely to go ahead than the PD version.

Have the got permission as far as I know anything beyond the high water mark belongs to the Government or OPW or something like that, meaning the Irish people. Is it a PPP or not what’s in it for the man in the street? I think PPPs are a very suspect!! They only make the richer have them living in gated communities SAD, SAD, Did we become a Republic for this??????????

I presume Funda / ad agency employees are now being instructed to leave comments like the above. Either that or Holy God what is the world coming to etc.

Doesn’t sound like a bad idea to me.
And even if it is just a marketing ploy, it’s not a bad one. We’re all talking about it - aren’t we?!

Just giving this a nudge. Deserves more credit than it’s getting!

So, it’s part of a viral campiagn for funda.ie - a property website. Kudos though to whoever developed the idea, it’s about time Ireland had it’s very own viral marketing sector!
