Pluto Downgraded from Planet Status

tim @ 10:13 am

The most boring part of science in my opinion is classification. This thing is in this catagory. That thing is in that catagory. The second most boring thing in science is when people start arguing over the catagories themselves. In celebration of my ignorant opinion, here’s the link to the story everyone’s talking about, that Pluto’s status has been downgraded from planet to “dwarf planet”. “Dwarf planet” is a temporary name, because nobody can agree on a better one yet.

Pluto downgraded.
