So RTE News thinks all black women look the same?…
So the Internet rumour mill started with a story that Mel B (you remember the Spice Girl) and Eddie Murphy (you know ‘I’ve got an ice cream’ really funny comedian before the ‘I’m talking to animals!’ and ‘I’ve turned fat all of a sudden and am playing all my family’ movies). Check this out from RTE Entertainment News: Mel B reportedly dating Eddie Murphy take a close look media busters, if you watch enough crap TV as me you will realise that the picture of course is Melainie Hill from the first series of Big Brother and not Melainie Blatt, aka Mel B aka Scary Spice.
Get it right RTE, it may be a small thing but get ‘celebrities’ right! God it’s like you mistook Derek Davis for Joe Duffy or something….

Melainie Blatt is of All Saints fame, Mel B’ s real name is Melainie Brown.

ahh balls, i must hold my hand up and hang my head in shame simuntaneously, you are absolutely right, humblest and profuse apologies all round I be wrong what was I thinking? why was ‘blatt’ in my head when I meant ‘brown’ maybe ‘blatt’ has a vague slapstick sound and I thought it would be funnier, mind you ‘brown’ no doubt has unlimited comedy potential, not only a mistqake, then, but also a missed opportunity for ‘comedy’ sorry, thanks for pointing it out Celeb Police…are you related to ‘Vinyl Justice’?

Glad that celeb police beat me to pointing out that Mel B is in fact Melanie Brown and Melanie Blatt an All Saint (the one who is’nt Shaznay or an Appleton). But it is with no great joy that I find the names of mid 90’s girly bands springing so readily to mind. In terms of Mel B and comedy…I figure she can never recover from what Bo’selecta did to her, can anyone ever see her again without thinking that she wants to jump Patsy Kensit ?.
