Attach Creative Commons Licence to Office Documents

Microsoft and the Creative Commons on Wednesday plan to release a free tool that will let people attach a Creative Commons copyright license to Microsoft Office documents.

Full story. Great news, especially when you consider that if it became embedded in Office then it’s ubiquity is pretty much assured. But for the moment it looks like an optional download, which will limit it’s popularity.
