Bubble Hits
Bubble Hits, a new Irish owned TV music channel, is set to air on the BSkyB platform from the 14th August 2006.The station, owned by two young Irish entrepreneurs James Hyland (23) and Lee Walsh (22), will broadcast hit music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no commercial breaks.
Bubble Hits say they’re able to accomplish this staggering feat because revenue will be generated by integrated advertising, show sponsorship and viewer interaction via SMS, MMS and web. Sponsored competitions for ‘Prizes You Can’t Buy’ and ‘Exclusive Intimate Gigs’ will also contribute to the station’s income

Yay, Lara Croft in Ireland!
Feshti's back and this time he's counting down the top 10 movie opening scenes of all time.
Is American opinion and culture crowding out all others?
Just listening to you on Dave Fanning…great idea, hope it all goes well! We need a music channel revolution!

[…] We reported on new Irish tv channel hoping to challenge the overcrowded music channel market Bubble Hits back at the end of May. It’s innovative feature is that it’s commercial free; making all it’s money off rich children and teenyboppers who’ll txt like crazy just to see their names run across the bottom of the screen along with ‘busted 4ever.’ Well it launched today.
