Ryanair may get the bill

Ryanair could be forced to shell out around €4,000 for accidentally landing at the wrong airport.

It has being reported that the British Ministry of Defence is considering invoicing the airline for touching down at an RAF base in Ballykelly, Co Derry.

  1. As a former instructor aircraft commander, I know that commercial airliners and confused military aircraft always pay for every time they touch rubber on the ramp, accidentally or not, touch-and-go or full stop.
