Australian Catholics enraged by Bloody Mary South Park too
We reported (here ,here and here) when the Catholic League in the US complained to Comedy Central about their Bloody Mary episode of South Park. Now Australian Catholintarians are doing the same.
Controversial cartoon series South Park has enraged Catholic groups after producing an episode featuring a bleeding statue of the Virgin Mary.
Church leaders in New Zealand are urging Catholics to boycott national television network C4, who intend to screen the “ugly and tasteless” episode on February 22.
Full story. It must be so annoying getting enraged by things like this.

Yay, Lara Croft in Ireland!
Feshti's back and this time he's counting down the top 10 movie opening scenes of all time.
Is American opinion and culture crowding out all others?
That should ensure record ratings for the show.
These people must have very boring lives if they get worked up about such non-issues.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANY TV SHOW TO EVEN RISK CAUSING RELIGIOUS OFFENCE TO BELIEVERS OF ANY FAITH.
I ABHOR THE SO CALLED ISLAMIC CARTOONS ALSO, BUT MANY MEDIA OUTLETS HAVE APOLOGISED TO MUSLIMS, MOST LIKELY BECAUSE THEY FEAR A VIOLENT REPRISAL THAN A SENSE OF DECENCY.
THEY WON’T APOLOGISE IN THIS CASE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR FROM MORE RESTRAINED CATHOLICS.
FREE SPEECH DOES NOT MEAN FREEDOM TO DISRESPECT OR INSULT ANOTHER, IT SHOULD INVOLVE SOME SENSE OF RESTRAINT.
PERHAPS DECENT THINKING PEOPLE SHOULD TAKE STRONGER MEASURES TO EXPRESS THEIR DISGUST, IT SEEMS LIKE HE WHO SHOUTS LOUDEST IS HEARD THE MOST!
