Irish Blog Awards shortlist: TCAL gets nominated for best group blog
The shortlist for the Irish Blog Awards is online. The Community At Large is nominated in the Best Group Blog category. Thanks to all of you who voted for us, it means a lot. In terms of the make up of the list, there’s only two categories I’m pretty adamant about who should win: Stunned in Best Arts and Culture Blog, because it’s a great blog that does exactly what it says on its tin and Donncha O’Caoimh for Best Contribution to the Irish Bloggersphere, not because the other guys contributions aren’t great, but because TCAL is powered by wordpress, as are half the sites in the awards, and the awards site itself. It’s a cracking piece of software.

Yay, Lara Croft in Ireland!
Feshti's back and this time he's counting down the top 10 movie opening scenes of all time.
Is American opinion and culture crowding out all others?
I agree it’ll be a bloody travesty if Donncha doesn’t win!
