3Crosses

danger @ 4:27 pm

3 Crosses is a ganster film filmed here, the UK and the US and it’s set for release in 2006.

After producing some short films, one IFTA-nominated documentary and a new show for Sky Television (to be aired in January 2005 on Sky One), The Figgis Brothers have been working on their first feature, ‘3Crosses’. The story concerns the turbulent relationship of two brothers, Jonnie and Jay Linski who are, in their own individual ways, trying to come to terms with the murder of their younger brother Danny.

That’s from here. It has an IMDB listing. Showbiz Ireland has some pretty violent photos from a recent set visit.

  1. hey, I think this is a movie that I saw being filmed in dublin at a bar and it looks nuts. One of the stars of Titanic and a main guy from dream team were doing some scenes in a sealed off area of this dublin club and waht we saw looks insane…very violent but with really witty dialogue. the actors were cracking up and then getting straight back into it. It looks really funky. Jack

  2. One of my mates is in that movie. He said the director and producer are brothers from Dublin and were cool to work with. He said the energy on set was always great…a lot of fun but very hard work. They did some amazing scenes including a shoot-out with about twenty people! From what he said the cast are really excited about seeing the finished film. I think it’s gonna be finished by May.
