Southpark finale dropped by Comedy Central
Looks like Comedy Central was called on to ban further showings of the season finale of South Park because of content like this:
The 2005 season finale of South Park, entitled “Bloody Mary”, involved a local statue of the Virgin Mary bleeding out its ass. The faithful come from miles around to be healed by the miraculous blood. Pope Benedict XVI shows up to inspect the statue, rules that the statue is actually bleeding from its vagina, and declares: “A chick bleeding out her vagina is no miracle. Chicks bleed out their vaginas all the time.”
The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights were pissed off about that sort of thing. And it now looks like Comedy Central have dropped the show from re-runs. Expect file sharing networks to be even more full of people illegally downloading the episode as a result. (via.)
