Smart wins fourth 3G licence

Smart Telecom plans to launch a mobile phone service by next summer following the news that it has been granted the country’s fourth 3G licence by the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg).

  1. The real question is: Will it be like their broadband? You go into the shop, buy the mobile phone, charge it up, then have to wait 5 months before you can turn it on?

  2. Amen Danger, their Broadband “service” is the biggest joke in the broadband market.

    Even the lucky users who get connected report a fairly flakey connection.
