Charung Gollar doesn’t exist

You may have recieved an email recently that goes something like this:

One month ago the Norwegian diplomat Charung Gollar was asked to present to the U.N. a “drawing” that would demonstrate the greatest problems in the planet for 2004.

His presentation (Title: The power of stars) had these 8 images. Although his idea had no such intention, it gave him the nomination for a Nobel award for political marketing.

Well, none of that appears to be true, as you would expect. Here’s a more likely explanation of the flags. Wherever they came from, they are excellent. Link to flag images.
