Pat Ingoldsby

jp @ 7:34 pm

So who knows of / remembers Pat Ingoldsby? Well guess what the guy has his own site!!! Here it is. I’ve seen him a million times on the streets grafting out a living selling his books, fair balls. You can also read some of his poems on the site, here is one of them.

FULL TIDE BETWEEN US

Allow me
to explode
the sudden stream
in your mouth
but do not
be drinking.
Make moist temptation
out of your lips
across my face
and
a new stream
is beginning
between
your legs.

It also appears that our friend Steve K has also set him up for the 21st Century by selling him a computer, story here. Hope you didn’t rip him off Steve!

  1. Ohh dude I had no idea you were an Ingoldsby fan. Pat has become a good friend of mine from talking to him on the street and I was recently up in his house repairing the PC I sold him as the floppy drive I put in the machine I sold him had a dodgy floppy disk drive. I had no idea at the time but fixed it for free no doubt. As a result of the new PC Pat is working on another book that’s due out over christmas. I know this is a pretty old news story but hopefully the author will read this comment. I love Pay myself and his poetry, he’s a very quirky witty guy who writes some amazing poetry. I recently read “The Frenchwoman and the Sky” and you can really feel his pain over his breakup with his wife. Anyways people you should read some of his stuff or say hello when you see him on Westmooreland street. He’s a really great guy and lovely to have a conversation with.

    Cheers,
    Ste
