It’s been bugging me for a while. All over Dublin and all along the N11 out to Bray you’ll see the ICN graffiti tag. Now via this handy boards.ie thread we get some (though not much) info on whats going on:
“GRIFT” “DROP” “SHOT” all the same person, in a crew called ICN, however ICN are only new, and have a link with RCS (The radicals).
UEK, is a demolition crew, wich basicly means, all they do is spraypaint every where and anywhere. Infact i caught a “UEK Crew Member” doing his infamous “FOES” tag on my area (Landsdowne/Ringsend) at the dart station, thats TGK Turf, all ringsend is basicly coverd in TGK, and are rivelling with another crew known as ESC, with “HASK” and “FLASH” smashing up their tags anywhere they can, quit annoying actualy. Ever see the tag “PNS”? Yes, that stands for “penis” basicly its a load of crap.UEK is probly the most powerful krew in this city.
ICN would have very artistic members!
RCS is a demolition crew but do have nice burners around the place!
TGK are a gang crew, planning to do as UEK did. cover the city, look out for TGK Tags around the city centre. KOSS, ION, RAGER, FRENCHY, WING… are just some members of that crew.
ICN are only new? Then how come they’re fucking everywhere? And crews? Gangs? WTF? Go read the thread. Everyone is argueing over who knows more about it and it’s all conjecture…but it’s not as if we post anything close to facts half the time here anyway so enjoy.

I posted that topic there, im in TGK (The Garden Gnomes Krew) and DWT (Dublin Wall terrorists), and ICN and RCS are graffiti crews, they like to get their name well knowen to the public eye. It does look very cheap i know, but they do facinating murals in places! ICN isnt that new, just began popping up with “Grift” (el Grifto”) who is widly known for his cheap “Grift” tag everywhere!
Also there are other krews like UEK (Underground Element Krew) and RCS (The radicals) and TGK and DWT.
But all these graffiti “artists” are in college, and they can spend money on spraypaint and yet they complain about the price of college!? With all the graffiti around, i say it would buy DCU college.

i’ve been seen a load of “GRIFT” tags all over the city centre area in dublin and some nice big murals. i seen a nice one behind whealans pub on camden street. it’s pretty cool to see how far it goes out in dublin. i was just wondering does icn have a website and does anyone know when or where i could find “GRIFT”

U guys don’t know shit about REAL Graffiti. Graffiti is an art… Sprayin’ initials on a wall aint art it’s just vandalism! Real Grafitti artists do murals. U should visit the Bronx & Queens or Eastern Europe to learn a thing or two…

yeah,i only found this site because i was lookin for info on who “ICN” actualy were,because ill i see everywhere i look in Dublin practicaly is “ICN”
ill admit,i do love Graffiti,but just tagging “ICN” in basic crappy font over and over again does start to suck,you need to expand a little

Ah TGKrew is shit, they boke up, so i left and joined a new crew (ISC). TGK just did crappy tags around the place, but the guys were a laugh, we had good times. ISC mainly do back allies and stuff so we dont vandalise property in the public eye, most of the guys in ISC are bombers, no tagging really. tagging is shit, Grift should really stop tagging, looks cheap, he is a good artist.
But i mean, UEK are just stupid, no good bombings, just millions of tags! ICn are ok, i like the big one just off leeson street bridge, they got there before us (ISC) DARN!
you will see ISC pop up a lot, but dont worry, we will do a few nice bombings for ya, no tagging crap
I do a nice “Koss” and my other mates “Visi” and “Dechu” are nice bombers! Should see their stuff.
