Krypton Locks & the DMCA
Krypton locks recently got quite embarassed when it was shown online how an ordinary bic pen could be used to pick the lock in 30 seconds. They’ve since agreed to replace the locks. This excellent blog entry (via) on 90% Crud draws comparisons between what happened in this case and what would happen if it was a DRM system that was broken. - Which of course, is protected by the DMCA. Very good read and points out just how harmfull (and patently ridiculous) the DMCA is.

Yay, Lara Croft in Ireland!
Feshti's back and this time he's counting down the top 10 movie opening scenes of all time.
Is American opinion and culture crowding out all others?
I just delivered to my son at college his bicycle (a thousand dollar item) in order for him to get around easier. Along with his bike I delivered his Krypton lock which I hoped would insure that his bike was protected from theft. Because of a recent demonstration about the effectiveness of Krypton locks I am unsure. For your information his key number is 0946. He needs another key or a replacement lock.
