Is Borat the greatest human on earth?

danger @ 2:55 am

BoratI was talking to a friend about Borat when I went looking for an online borat tribute. I didn’t have to go far. Check out http://www.boratonline.co.uk/ - a very comprehensive site, and most importantly it contains the entire lyrics to In my country there is problem.

Two minutes later I stumble on http://www.throwthejewdownthewell.com/

You must grab him by the horns, Then we’ll have a big party…Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius.

A little more Borat searching brings me to this piece in the New Yorker. It starts off with:

Roman Vassilenko, the press secretary for the Embassy of Kazakhstan, wants to clear up a few misconceptions about his country. Women are not kept in cages. The national sport is not shooting a dog and then having a party. You cannot earn a living being a Gypsy catcher. Wine is not made from fermented horse urine. It is not customary for a man to grab another man’s khrum. “Khrum” is not the word for testicles.

Borat is the King. Even more borat searching turned up the borat season 1 soundboard and borat season 2 soundboard.

Borat for president.

  1. Hey, writing from Tucson and just saying that I worked for Bill Spurbeck and was there the night when he punked him on season 2 episode 6. I didnt know 2 much about the show but i knew somethin was off and it was probably a European comedy show. I started cracking up when my boss was telling me about this new “job prospect” and the camera men looked nervous as if I was going to blow it.I had no idea I would see it on HBO!
